In 2017, the Office of the County Executive launched the 2017 – 2022 Cuyahoga County Strategic Plan which guides the County’s future growth and prioritizes Economic Growth & Opportunity, Fairness & Equity, and Government that Gets Results. The Office of Innovation and Performance supported the development of the plan, lead efforts to communicate the plan to employees, partners, and community members, and tracks progress of the plan through Cuyahoga Performance. To learn more about the County's plan for the future, visit our Strategic Plan page.
Cuyahoga Performance is an online data dashboard used to track the County’s progress toward the goals of Cuyahoga County’s Strategic Plan and identify both successes and opportunities for improvement. Quarterly reports are developed to show the impact and inform the community of County programs and services. Internally, Cuyahoga Performance is used to celebrate success, identify challenges, and initiate change. To learn more about our progress, visit our Cuyahoga Performance page.
The Public Policy Fellowship Program was created in 2011 to cultivate the next generation of public and nonprofit leaders in Northeast Ohio. Through this eight-week experiential learning program, fellows are placed within select County departments during the months of June and July. Department placements provide opportunities for students to build their professional profile through work on special projects, policy development, and research, while reinvigorating County government with fresh eyes and new perspectives. Visit the Public Policy Fellowship page to learn more about the program and the application process.
