Over 50 teams from several public safety agencies in Ohio competed in events tailored around: Crisis Intervention, Bomb Threats, Arrest and Search Active Shooter Response, and more!

Explorers Post 701 received 2nd place medals in two team events (Crisis Intervention, Obstacle Course), and a 3rd place medal in one individual event (Domestic Violence Response). Explorers Post 701 placed in the Top 10 in many other events.

So you want to be an Explorer?

Are you considering a future career in law enforcement? Or do you just find law enforcement interesting? Are you at least 14 years of age? If so, the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Explorer Program could be a great fit for you!

Our program is sanctioned, insured, and follows the guidelines and rules set forth by the Boy Scouts of America Exploring Division. The CCSD conducts an annual recruitment program and Open House, scheduled in October. At the Open House, enrollment and interviews are conducted.
