CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH - The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department is partnering with area public safety partners to host their 8th annual Operation Safe Halloween on Thursday, October 27, 2022. The event will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in front of the Justice Center on Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland.
“Kids will be able to trick-or-treat, meet law enforcement and the K9 unit, enjoy games, and dance to spooky tunes being played by DJ Edward ‘Fuse’ Caraballo,” said Cuyahoga County Interim Sheriff Steven Hammett. “This is one of the most fun events we do every year, so we are encouraging everyone to come out, bring your trick-or-treat bags, and wear your Halloween best!”
More than 20 local, state, and federal partners will be handing out candy from their decorated cruisers, rain or shine, for this “Trunk or Treat” style event. Free parking is available across the street at the Huntington Garage, by entering from West 3rd Street. Lakeside Avenue, between Ontario and West 3rd streets, will be closed to traffic throughout the duration of the event.
