Tree Planting Program

The Bicentennial Tree Planting Program honors the county’s 200th birthday and establishes an enduring legacy in each of its 59 cities, villages and townships by planting an indigenous tree in a special location. Community planting ceremonies, including the placement and dedication of a commemorative “Bicentennial Tree” marker, will take place on or after Arbor Day, April 25, 2008.
