Quilt Project
In celebration of Cuyahoga County's Bicentennial, please join us in creating a specially designed Bicentennial block quilt, or by submitting a creative quilt of your own. All quilts exhibited must have a historical theme and include at least one Cuyahoga County First. Two new quilt blocks will be released monthly starting June 2009. Instructions for two blocks each month can be found at Cuyahoga County Public Library branches, Cleveland Metroparks Nature Centers and Abigayle’s Quiltery. The Bicentennial Quilt Competition took place at the Cuyahoga County Fair from August 8-15, 2010. There were 9 participants and 400 individuals voted for the Viewer's Choice award. The winners and other entrants are shown below.
